Millions of people across the country are going hungry as they gut SNAP benefits we rely on to survive.

Ignoring the demands and desires of the people, this administration continues to insist there are no funds for SNAP.

But while they’re claiming broke on the things that meet our needs, the U.S. Senate reconvened to increase the military’s 2026 budget to $926 billion.

We have billions for weapons and war, but supposedly nothing to care for our people?

They’re forcing us to make impossible decisions between putting food on the table, paying our rent, or taking our kids to the doctor.

Trying to stretch our paychecks further than ever while prices continue to rise.

What should our money go to?
What would you feed with our public money?

Together, we are leaning into community care to meet this moment.

Politicians keep using our money to prop up corporations and billionaires, to fund war and violence abroad and at home, all while failing to support our most basic human needs.

It is simple – If you want bang for your buck, feed the people.

Our community resources are being poured into ICE operations separating families, supplying bombs abroad, tax subsidies and bail outs for corporations and forcing us to sign the check.

We have the collective power to meet the people when this government abandons us.

Through highlighting our collective ability to show up for each other, we expose the cruelty of the status quo, the overwhelming need to transform society and make sure our people have full bellies and a seat at the table.
